Bobbie Jean Harper, 87, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Monday, November 19, 2018, at Heritage Care in Ocilla, Georgia.
Graveside services will be held 2 PM, Tuesday, November 20, 2018, at Evergreen Cemetery, in Fitzgerald, with the Rev. Blane Jacobs officiating.
Mrs. Harper was born April 2, 1931, in Fitzgerald, Georgia, to the late Max and Lula M. Young Perry. She lived in the community all of her life and worked for General Telephone Company as an operator and in the business office. Mrs. Harper was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church of Fitzgerald and a member of the Dorcas Sunday School Class.
She is survived by a son, Terry & Lataine Taylor of Fitzgerald; grandchildren: Mendy Vickers & Shannon, Jay Taylor & Mary, Zara Powers & Micah and Dawn Smith & Wesley; great-grandchildren: Cam Vickers, Emmie Vickers, Madison Taylor, Braleigh Smith and Ethan Powers. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Harper.
