Anna Marie (James) Glahn, 93, of Groton Long Point, formerly of Wethersfield, died Thursday at Mystic Manor.
Mrs. Glahn was born in Worcester, MA on January 31, 1912 the daughter of H. Edward and Edna (Gallup) James. Her husband, Karl G. Glahn, died in 1991.
She will be remembered for her laughter, smile and her love and devotion to her family and friends.
Mrs. Glahn is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and John Ward of Mystic, a grandson, Dennis Smith of CA, a sister, Ruth Rankin of Wethersfield, a sister-in-law, Virginia James of Cromwell, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings, Edna “Penny” Welker, Gladys Hughes, and Edward James.
At her request, services will be private. Donations in her memory may be made to the Mystic Manor Patient Recreation Fund, 475 High St., Mystic 06355.
