Surrounded by those who held him most dear, John Edward Krenz left this life on Thursday, November 15, 2018. John was born in St. Paul, MN on June 9, 1938 to Paul & Sara (Germain) Krenz. He is survived by his loving wife of nearly 62 years, Audrey (Dunbar), and his forever grateful children Teresa (Richard), John (Sandra), Greg (Diane), Vincent (Lisa), Cindy (David), Laura (Ron), Denise (Keenan), Patricia, Jenny (Rich) & Kerrie (Troy). His most precious legacy will forever be his 32 grandchildren & 12 great grandchildren. A design engineer by trade, John graduated from Harding High School & contributed to large waste water treatment projects in Kalamazoo, Boston, Colorado Springs, Las Vegas & Sacramento. He spent many happy summers building his cabin on Mound Lake & had a special passion for the Rocky Mountains & Vikings football. Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday (11/21) 11:00 AM at CHURCH OF ST. PETER, 2600 N. Margaret St., North St. Paul. Interment St. Mary's Cemetery. Visitation Tuesday 4-7 PM, with Prayers at 7 PM, at SANDBERG FUNERAL HOME, 2593 E. 7th Ave., North St. Paul, & one hour prior to Mass at church. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred.
