SPENCER: Janie (Graffweg) Brennan, 72, of Spencer died Wednesday, November 14, in Brigham and Women's Hospital after an illness. She leaves her husband of 50 years, John J. Brennan, a daughter Jeanne M. Brennan-Krawetzky and her husband Peter of Saint Simons Island, Georgia, a son Kevin J. Brennan of Worcester, a granddaughter Kate Krawetzky, two sisters; Sr. Jean Graffweg,OP of Goshen, NY and Anne Graffweg and her husband Gerald Orange of Palm Coast, Florida. She was predeceased by a brother Harry P. Graffweg. Mrs. Brennan was born in New York, New York daughter of Harry C. and Ann (Gillespie) Graffweg. She was the head baker for the Quabbin Regional School District for many years before retiring. Janie was happiest when she was spending time with her family, especially during the summer at her family cottage on Lake Wickaboag in West Brookfield.
