NATALE S. “BERT” BERTINO, 93, passed away November 13, 2018. He was the beloved husband of the late Hilda R. (Cobb) Bertino for 62 years. He has gone home to hold his girlfriend’s hand.
Bert was born and raised in South Boston, he was the son of the late Santo and Pasqua (Pino) Bertino. A veteran of the United States Navy, he served his country proudly during WWII.
He loved to cook and devoted his life to his family, especially his grandchildren.
He is survived by his children Susan Larracey and her husband Tom of Ashland, Lynne Bertino-Williams and Vincent Foody of Grafton, Steven Bertino and his wife Phyllis of Natick, Laura Bertino-Casper of Millville, David Bertino of Natick, and James Bertino and his wife Wendy of Ashland; his grandchildren, Andrew and Nichole Larracey and Benjamin and Stacy Larracey, Rachel and John Egan, Justin, Ryan and Evan Williams, Sarah, Ashley, Amanda Bertino and fiancé Mark Boccardi, and Christopher Bertino, Melissa, Nathaniel, and Anthoney Casper, and Megan and Jenna Bertino and fiancé Dominic Russo, great-grandchildren, Mia, Jack, James, Adam, Joshua, Nadalia, Cameron and Jack; and many nieces and nephews. He was also survived by his brother Salvatore Bertino and his wife Fern of Mansfield, and sister Josephine Shaughnessy of West Roxbury.
Visiting hours will be in the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street at Natick Common on Monday, Nov. 19th from 5 – 8 PM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
