Pauline W. (Austin) Whittemore age 85 of Methuen, MA, died Thursday at the Kenoza Manor Nursing Home, Haverhill, MA.
She was born in Methuen, MA, where she grew up and attended schools, and graduated from Searles High School. She was a resident of Methuen, MA for the past 50 years, formerly of Andover, MA.
Mrs. Whittemore was a retired Bank Teller for the Bay State Bank in Lawrence, MA. She had also worked in the cafeteria at the Stephen Barker School in Methuen, MA. She was a member of the Forest Street Church in Methuen. She enjoyed reading, listening to music and loved her kitty Jaguar.
She was predeceased by her husband Albert E. Whittemore
She is survived by 2 Sons: David Whittemore of Methuen, MA

2 Sisters: Dorothy Dearborn of Andover, MA
Nancy Lund of Salem, NH
3 Grandchildren: Keith, Katie, & Johnny
Funeral services will be held Monday, Dec. 19 at 10:30 Am at the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main Street, Salem, NH. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery, Methuen, MA.
Calling hours will be held Sunday, Dec. 18, from 1-5 PM at the Funeral Home.
