Brenda Rothell Sandlin, age 77, of Chase City, VA, passed away Wednesday, November 14, 2018. She was born September 10, 1941 in Norfolk, VA and was the daughter of the late Wade Marlen Rothell and the late Shannon Mae Jones Rothell.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Joe Sandlin and her brother, Joe Rothell.
Brenda is survived by two sons, Marty Tucker of Chase City and George Tucker of Chase City; two daughters, Regina Sandlin and husband, Pat Ward of Chase City and Dana Arthur and husband, Steven of South Hill; and seven grandchildren, Megan Tucker Hudson, Rebecca Sandlin, Alexa Sandlin, Brandon Anderson, Baylee Arthur, Caryn Arthur, and Thomas Ward. She is also survived by one brother, Virgil Rothell of Victoria; one sister, Frances Walker of Fort Mitchell; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friend, Ann Kyle.
A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m., Sunday, November 18, 2018 at the Newcomb Allgood Funeral Home Chapel.
