Catherine M. Devine, 62

Dateline: Mansfield, MA

Catherine M. (Arno) Devine, age 62, of Mansfield, passed away in the presence of her loving family on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at the Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro. She was the beloved wife of Richard K. Devine, to whom she was wed for forty-three years.

Born in Boston, MA on August 27, 1956, she was a loving daughter of the late Anthony N. and Theresa H. (Fairclough) Arno.

Cathy grew up in the Hyde Park neighborhood of Boston, was a 1974 graduate of Hyde Park High School and attended Bunker Hill Community College.

A resident of Mansfield since 1976 and a communicant of St. Mary’s Church in Mansfield, Mrs. Devine had been employed as a logistics planner at Covidien in Mansfield for Eighteen years.

Cathy’s greatest love and joy was her adoring family. Actively involved in the Mansfield community, she was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother and was always there to cheer on and support her children’s sporting events and activities.

Cathy enjoyed music, dancing, dining out with her childhood friends and especially date nights on Saturday with her loving husband Richard.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her devoted children: Keith R. Devine of Mansfield, Jeffrey J. Devine and his wife Julia of Melrose, Christopher M. Devine of Mansfield, and Jillian M. Devine-Graves and her husband Joseph of Newton. She was the cherished grandmother of Jack, Jemma and Joslyn Devine. She was the sister of Thomas Arno of Ohio, Anthony Arno of Dedham, the late Joseph Arno and is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Her funeral, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will begin on Monday, November 19th at 10:00 A.M. from the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home, 55 North Main St., Mansfield followed by a Mass of Christian burial celebrated at 11:00 A.M. in St. Mary’s Church, 330 Pratt St. (Route 106) Mansfield. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Mansfield.

Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, November18th from 4:00-7:00 P.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home.
