David J. Casavant, of Malden passed away on November 12, 2018. He was 56 years old.
David was a board member and lifelong supporter of The Reagle Musical Theater of Greater Boston. He worked as an accounts payable manager at Harvard University for over 20 years and enjoyed spending his summers with friends and family at Lakeshore Park on Lake Winnipesaukee in New Hampshire.
David was the beloved husband of Kevin Berry. He was the son of the late Arthur Sr. and Norma (Holloway) Casavant. David was the son in-law of A. Stuart Berry of Malden and his late wife Anna. He was the loving father of Jessica MacKenzie and her husband Jason of Everett and Shaun Berry and his wife Elizabeth of Salem, MA. David was the dear brother of Arthur Casavant Jr. and his wife Sandy of Hudson, MA and Gail Casavant of Quincy. He was the brother in-law of Paul Berry and his wife Debbie of PA, Brian Berry of NH, and Maureen McArthur and her husband James of Dracut, MA. David was the uncle of Cathy Leroux and her husband Derrick, Jennifer Casavant, Keith Berry, Heather Cook, Chris Berry, Brittany Roy, and Nicholas Fisher. He was the cherished grandfather of Shane, Kayden, Jameson, and Taya.
Visiting hours will be held from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main Street, Malden on Saturday November 17th from 9:00am-12:00pm. A service will be held at 11:30am during the visitation. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
