Salvatore J. Spinale, 88 of Somerville died Wednesday in the Massachusetts General Hospital Boston, MA.
Born in Boston, he lived in the West End of Boston for many years before moving to Somerville 40 years ago. He was the son of the late Sebastiana (Passanisi) and Sebastino Spinale. Mr. Spinale was a Packer and foreman employed by DiMare Brother´s Tomatoes formerly of Boston for may years and retired in 1982. He was a U.S. Army veteran of WW II. Salvatore was a member of the Teamster’s Union.
Beloved husband of the late Lillian (Campo) Spinale. Brother of Rose Staver of West Roxbury, Josephine Mele of Brighton, Angela Pinto, Eleanor Venezia both of Quincy and the late Dominic Spinale, Concetta Gazzano, Mary Venezia. Godfather of Robert Venezia of Middleton, also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be conducted in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD December 17, Saturday at 9:30 AM.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
Visiting hours Friday 4 thru 8.
Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
