Arlene Elizabeth Widmer, 73, of Aitkin, formerly of St. Paul passed away Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at her home. She was born May 21, 1945 in St. Paul to Anton and Ann (Gayer) Himmel. Arlene was united in marriage to Kenneth L. “Witt” Widmer on July 31, 1965 in St. Paul. Arlene worked for MNDOT as a Graphics Art Designer for 39 ½ years. She enjoyed bowling, bingo, going to the casino and especially spending time with her family. Arlene is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Anna Mae Heimerl. Arlene is survived by her loving husband, Ken “Witt” Widmer; children, Maureen (Rick Jorgensen) Widmer, Colleen (Mike Venezia) Widmer, Caroline (Chad) Reshetar, and Elizabeth (Kyle Jacobson) Widmer; grandchildren, Keith, Annalyssa, Paige, Amanda, Brianna, Aiden, Jackson, Kennedy and McKinley; sister, Antoinette Himmel; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, surrogate children and friends. Memorial Gathering Wednesday (11/14) from 4 to 7 PM at SANDBERG FUNERAL HOME, 2593 E. 7th Ave., North St. Paul.
