Worcester—Dagny H. (Polson) Forsberg, 88, died Wednesday, December 14, 2005, in the Lutheran Home. Her husband of 47 years, David C. Forsberg, died in 1988. She leaves a son, David P. Forsberg and his wife Ann D. of Worcester, a sister, Evelyn C. Anderson of Holden; 2 grandsons, Drew E. Forsberg of Worcester and Danna K. Forsberg and his wife Rebecca of Ft. Myers, FL; and several nieces and nephews. A brother, Warren Polson, died in 2003. She was born in Worcester, daughter of David and Clara C. (Fremodig) Polson and graduated from Commerce High School. She was a clerk at the Mass. Protective Assn. and later joined her husband at the family-owned Malmstead Ins. Agency. Mrs. Forsberg was a charter member of Trinity Lutheran Church and a member of its Eunice Circle. She was a member of the VASA Order of America and was also active in many other Swedish organizations. She was a gifted cook and baker.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Dec. 17, at 11:00 a.m. in the Nave of Trinity Lutheran Church, 73 Lancaster Street. Burial will be private in the All Faiths Cemetery. Calling hours will be held Friday, Dec. 16 from 5-8 p.m. at Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln St. Please omit flowers.
