NEWCASTLE- Kim Freeman Meuse, of Newcastle, passed away Oct. 29 surrounded by family and loved ones. She was born on Feb. 18, 1955 during one of the worst snowstorms of the year.
She began school in Hallowell and graduated high school from Woburn (Mass.) High. She continued her education throughout Maine and Massachusetts and obtained a Master’s degree in education. Kim flourished as a dedicated and passionate science teacher at Oceanside Middle School in Thomaston.
She was predeceased by her father Arthur “Bud” Freeman and is survived by mother, Jane Freeman; elder sisters, Pamela Coutts, and Susan Freeman; children, Michael Meuse, Daniel Meuse, and Kathryn Meuse; many nieces and nephews; and her lifetime partner in later years, Douglas Mack. Kim will live on in her loved ones’ hearts and their love and joy.
Per Kim’s request there will be no formal services.
