SULLIVAN, David C. Of North Hill, Needham and Brewster, formerly of Wellesley, November 6. Beloved husband of Barbara H. (Hayes) Sullivan for 65 years. Devoted father of Ellen S. McGann and her husband Dr. William F. of Atlanta, GA, Maura C. Sullivan of Cape Elizabeth, ME, and the late Gregory E. Sullivan and Michael H. Sullivan and his surviving wife Mary of Scituate. Grandfather of Corey Martin, Emilie, Daniel and Olivia Sullivan, Dr. Jessica Kempton, William McGann III, Courtney Gatlin and Isabel Sullivan. Great-grandfather of Madeleine and Eloise Martin. Brother of Agnes O'Brien and her husband John of Needham and the late Richard Sullivan and his surviving wife Lois of Wellesley, Philip Sullivan and his surviving wife Claire of Wareham, the late Joan Nicholson and Margaret Crowley. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
David was Class President and Captain of the football team at Boston College High School; graduate of Holy Cross College, 1951; Boston College, where he received his Law degree in 1954. Retired President of R.C. Sullivan Co. of Cambridge and President of the Plumbing & Heating Assoc. He was involved with the Charles River Workshop in Needham and Latham Center in Brewster. Member of the Wellesley Country Club and Eastward HO in Chatham.
Funeral from the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 477 Washington St. (Rt. 16), WELLESLEY, Friday, November 9 at 10 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Paul's Church, Wellesley, at 11. Relatives and friends kindy invited. Visiting hours Thursday 4-6. Interment Holyhood Cemetery, Brookline.
