Obituary

Anna C. Campana, a Medford resident for more than 75 years, died Monday at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital. She was 96.


Ms. Campana was born in Boston, the daughter of the late Nicola and the late Consiglia (Polcari) Campana. She worked as a stitcher most of her life, until she retired at age 68. She worked 53 years with Hughes and Potter Neckwear. Though never married, she cared deeply about her nieces, nephews and godchildren and was very active in their lives.


Anna leaves one brother, John Campana of Milton, and many loving nieces, nephews and Godchildren.


Her funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Saturday at 10 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High Street, Medford, at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Friday 4 thru 8. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Anna’s name to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Second Floor, Framingham, MA 01701.
