Judith A. Powers, age 75, of Raynham, formerly of Brockton, passed away unexpectedly at home on Thursday, November 1, 2018.
Born in Brockton, MA on August 13, 1943, she was a loving daughter of the late Robert W. and Edna R. (Peckham) Powers.
Judy grew up in Brockton and was a graduate of Brockton High School. Before retirement, she had faithfully worked in the offices at Pneumatic Scale in Quincy. She had made her home in Raynham for over twenty years and was a former longtime resident of Brockton.
Judy’s hobbies included owl memorabilia. She was considered a huge movie buff and especially enjoyed watching black and white movies, her favorite being “An Affair to Remember”. She also loved “I Love Lucy”, “The Dick Van Show” and was an avid and faithful fan of the Boston Red Sox.
She is survived by her aunt Alma Johnson of Brockton, as well as her nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services and burial will be private and visiting hours have been omitted.
