Donna Marie (Smith-Corrado) Solar, of Tewksbury, died at home surrounded by her loving family, on Wednesday, October 31st. Born in Cambridge, she was the daughter of the late Norman Smith, Barbara(Dilworth) and Domenic Saragosa. Donna was the beloved wife of Robert Solar, the devoted mother of Nicholas and Christopher Corrado, and the cherished step-mother of Stephanie (Coyle), Lyndsey (Repic) and Matthew Solar. She is also survived by her brothers Kenneth, Kevin and Paul Smith as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Donna was a nurse for over 20 years, taking care of people truly was her passion in life. In her free time she loved to go fishing with her husband. She touched the lives of so many people and she will be deeply missed. We love you more, Donna.
A funeral service will be celebrated at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main Street, Medford on Friday, November 2nd at 7:30 PM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with family from 4 through 7:30 PM. Interment will be private.
