Worcester – Doris B. (Mercier) DeFosse, 93, of Worcester, passed away on Thursday, October 25th surrounded by her loving family after a brief illness.
Doris was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Frank and Emma (Marchand) Mercier and is survived by her five children, Robert DeFosse and his wife Debbie, Donald DeFosse and his wife, Ann, Diane Bisnette and her husband, Phil, Nancy Gillespie and Janis DeSantis and her husband, Jack; 11 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren and extended family.
Doris was predeceased by 4 sisters and 2 brothers. Her family was her pride and joy, she cherished them and enjoyed spending as much time with them as possible. Doris will be sadly missed by all that loved her.
Funeral services are being held privately and burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. is assisting the family with arrangements.
