MANCHESTER - Anna R. Fifty, 87, passed away peacefully on October 22, 2018, surrounded by loving family.
Born in New York City to Eufemio and Adela (Tejero) Colón, Anna studied at the University of Puerto Rico and graduated in 1959. She worked as an elementary school teacher in the Derry (NH) Cooperative School District. After more than twenty years of service, Anna retired to Port Richey, Florida in 1986. She returned to New Hampshire in recent years.
Anna is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, William Fifty of Manchester. She is also survived by her three children: June O’Brien of Chadds Ford, PA, Michael Fifty of Acworth, GA, and Ann and her husband James Kalasky of Manchester; her sisters: Jenny Colón, Evelyn Raymond, and Leticia Ginart; and two grandchildren: William and Gwendolyn Kalasky.
Services: Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, Oct. 28, 2018 at J.N. Boufford & Sons Home from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, Oct. 29, 2018 at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph’s Chapel, Lowell St. Manchester. Burial will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Anna’s name may be made online or mailed to Community Hospice House, 210 Naticook Rd, Merrimack NH 03054.
