Obituary

SUTTON: Robert Patrick Hughes, 84, of Sutton and formerly of Natick, son of Patrick J. and Sarah (Noone) Hughes died on Monday, October 22nd surrounded by his family after a courageous battle with Alzheimer’s.
Robert graduated from Wellesley High School and enlisted in the ARMY, where he served during the time of The Korean War. Upon his return, he went to work at Coatings Engineering for several years, then Innovative Coatings until his retirement.
Robert is survived by his son Robert Hughes Jr. of Worcester; his daughter Susan Bilodeau of Sutton; his brothers: Francis M. and Richard J. Hughes; sister Rosemary Hall; four grandchildren: Melissa and William Bilodeau, Heather and Stephen Hughes; two great-grandchildren: Raymond and Axel; his former wife, Christine and many nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by his first wife, Janet (Coyne); his brothers: Joseph E., John J., Edmund C., and David P. Hughes and his sister, Sarah Poisson.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral on Friday, October 26 at 9:00 A.M. from the John Everett and Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street at Natick Common, followed by a funeral mass in St Patrick's Church at 10:00 A.M.  Burial to follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery=
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 25th from 4:00-7:00 P.M. in the Chapel of John Everett and Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street, Natick, MA 01760.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Robert’s name to: Alzheimer’s Association.
