Elizabeth “Beth” Besley, 50, of Glenville, NY, died Sunday, December 11, 2005 in the Brigham & Women's Hospital, Boston, MA. Mrs. Besley was born in Exeter, NH on June 9, 1955, a daughter of the late Stanton and Priscilla (Tuck) Bunker. She was a resident of Glenville for the past five years, formerly living in Nashua, NH. She taught at Calvary Christian School in Derry, NH and Victory Christian School in Londonderry, NH and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Colonie, NY.
Many years ago Beth accepted Christ into her life when she heard and believed that Jesus died on the cross for her sins and ours. Romans 3:23 states that all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. Romans 10:9 says "that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus and shalt believe in thy heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." Romans 21:4 states that "God will wipe away all tears from their eyes and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain; for the former things are passed away."
This is the promise God has made for Beth and us and because she knew the Lord Jesus as her Savior she now dwells in Heaven with Him.
She lived her life as a "born again" believer but this did not make her perfect here on earth, but in her new residence in Heaven she is!
It is truly well with her soul! How about yours?
She is survived by her husband of 18 years, Jack F. Besley of Glenville, a daughter, Joanna C. Besley of Glenville, a brother, Louis Bunker of Chester, NH, a sister, Nancy Bradbrook of Pepperell, MA, several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and also by many friends. She was predeceased by her brother, David Bunker.
