Betty J.(Stanwood)Dunne, of Needham, died Sat Dec 10, 2005 at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital East Campus in Boston. She was 84.
Born in Boston, she graduated from Needham High in 1938. She worked as a waitress at the Chateau in Waltham, Tony’s Villa and had retired from Four Stars Restaurant in Needham. She was devoted to her family.
She is survived by her husband James L. Dunne, her daughters Sandra Fern Tholl and Nancy (Neanover) Nardella both of Portland ME, her son James L. Dunne Jr. of West Roxbury, 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Fri Dec 16 at 10 AM in the Carter Memorial United Methodist Church 800 Highland Ave. Needham. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Interment will take place on Fri at 2:15 PM at the Mass National Cemetery in Bourne.
