Linda M. Véliz, a resident of Medford, passed away at the Mt. Auburn Hospital in Cambridge on Wednesday evening, October 10, 2018. She was 68 years old.
Born in Antofagasta, Chile, she was the beloved daughter of the late Andrés A. and Juana Véliz (Díaz). Ms. Véliz was employed for many years as an Activities Director for the North End Nursing Home. Aside being loyal, loving, and generous, Linda was an outgoing person who loved life. She enjoyed traveling and visiting with her large circle of friends. She will be dearly missed.
Linda is survived by her loving siblings, cuál la amaron con toda alma: Gloria E. Véliz of Phoenix, Arizona and John J. Veliz of Medford. Also extended supporting family in Medford, California, France, and Chile.
Her funeral service will be celebrated in the Beals-Geake-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 29 Governors Avenue, Medford, on Thursday at 6pm to 8pm with service at 730pm. Relatives and friends are most welcome to attend. Interment will be privately held at a later date.
