WORCESTER___James E. Prescott, 64, of Worcester, died Friday, December 9, in St. Vincent Hospital.
His wife Marsha (Lane) Prescott died in 1996. He leaves a son, James Prescott IV of Worcester; a daughter, Rita Prescott-Capuano and her husband Steven of Shrewsbury; his mother, Ann (Wieczek) Prescott of Worcester; two grandchildren, Ryan and Sean Capuano of Shrewsbury. He was born in Worcester, son of Ernest K. Prescott and lived here all his life. He attended St. John’s and Classical High Schools and attended Clark University.
Mr. Prescott worked at Rich Products before retiring.
He was a member of Our Lady of the Angels Church.
The funeral will be held on Wednesday, December 14, from HENRY-DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward St., with a Mass at 11 a.m. in St. John’s Church, 40 Temple St. Burial will be private. Calling hours are from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, December 13, in the funeral home. www.worcesterfuneral.com
