WEBSTER - Rachel G. (Cournoyer) Feig, 91, died Sunday, September 23, 2018 in Harbour House Rehab & Nursing Center, Hingham after a period of declining health. Her husband, Henry W. Feig, died December 30, 2017.
She leaves 2 sons, William R. Feig and his wife Susan of Hingham, and Michael Feig and his wife Kathy of Tarzana, CA; 4 grandchildren, Lindsay Feig, Garrett Feig, Tara Block and Ryan Block; and 5 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sister, Claire Lapierre.
She was born and raised in Southbridge, the daughter of Adolphe and Cora (Rheaume) Cournoyer, and lived in Webster for most of her life before moving to Hingham in 2017. She attended Southbridge High School.
Mrs. Feig first worked as a machine operator at the American Optical Company in Southbridge. She then was a sales clerk at the former Tonylea Pharmacy in Webster before retiring.
She was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church and its Ladies of Saint Anne. She also volunteered at many parish festivals. She devoted her life to raising her family.
Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. Arrangements are under the direction of Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home, 340 School Street, Webster.
