Dale H. Rickard, 75, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Friday, December 9, 2005, at Dorminy Medical Center, Fitzgerald, Georgia.
Memorial services will be held 2:00 P.M., Sunday, December 11, 2005, at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel, Fitzgerald, with Dr. Lloyd Stembridge officiating. Visitation will be held from 7 until 9, Saturday evening at the funeral home
Mr. Rickard was born February 26, 1930, in Columbus, Ohio, to the late Earl H. and Josephine Haughout Rickard. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War Era. Mr. Rickard was a retired inspector for White Westinghouse in Columbus, Ohio, before moving to Fitzgerald in 1997. He attended Arbor Baptist Church.
He is survived by nephews: Eric Rickard of St. Louis, MO and Curtis & Wendy Rickard of Fitzgerald; nieces: Layne Rickard of Phoenix, AZ and Julie & Scott Kauffman of Marengo, OH; several great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth and Patricia Rickard.
