POWELL, EVELYN L. (EKROTH) of South Boston formerly of Mexico, Maine passed away September 29, 2018.
Beloved wife of the late Michael Powell. Daughter of the late Carl Ekroth and Cassie Janeliunas (Yakstas). Dear sister of the late John Ekroth. Loving aunt of Ardiss Hutaff of California and Kimberly McKeon of Massachusetts. Cherished 2nd Mother to her 4 cousins and their children.
Visiting hours will be held at Casper Funeral Home located at 187 Dorchester Street in South Boston on Wednesday, October 3rd from 5-8 PM. Prayers will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, October 4th at 10 AM followed by interment at New Calvary Cemetery.
Life member of the South Boston Lithuanian Club and Ladies Auxiliary. Retired Verizon employee of 34 years.
