SEBAGO LAKE- Marilyn Klein, 95 of Sebago Lake, died at Ledgewood Manor Nursing House, Windham on Friday September 28, 2018. She was born in Brooklyn, NY on May 21, 1923 to Frederick and Elizabeth (Brown) Koelpin.
Marilyn is predeceased by her parents, husbands Thomas Nolan and John Klein, brother Eugene Koelpin, daughter-in-law- Pamela Nolan and grandson John Huff.
She was a member of the Sebago Lake Congregational Church and Cornerstone Chapter, OES. She was employed by the US Postal Service, serving as Postmaster of Sebago Lake from 1975 until her retirement in 1985.
Dementia may have stolen her mind and activities she had enjoyed but it did not take away the love in her heart for her family.
Surviving is her son Thomas Nolan, daughters Patricia Nolan Stack (Stephen) and Kathleen Klein Haley (Bruce). Her grandchildren Thomas Nolan, Carol Anne Mains, Leanne Strout, Jeanne Jordan, Marie St. Saviour, and Andrea Haley, nine great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
The family would like to extend their appreciation to the Staff at Ledgewood Manor for their excellent care.
Per Marilyn’s request there will be No Services. Burial will be in Brooklyn, New York.
