Survived by 25 grandchildren & 12 great grandchildren & & 1 great great grandchild. Brother of Edward of Dedham, and the late Everett of Dorchester.
Funeral from the William J. Gormley Funeral Home, 2055 Centre St., West Roxbury on Monday Dec. 12 at 9am followed by a funeral mass in St. John Chrysostom Church, 4750 Washington St., West Roxbury at 10 o’clock. Visiting hours Sunday 3-7 pm. Relatives and friends invited. Interment Forest Hills Cemetery. Retired , 45 year employee of Harvard University Building & Grounds Dept.. During WW II, John was attached to Harvard University Audio Research Laboratories USN at Newport, RI: Charter & Life member of the Knights of Columbus Council #3049 W.R.: Graduate of Roslindale High School, Member of the Dedham Men’s Club Bowling League.
