TEWKSBURY: Frances S. (Morris) Fawcett, age 64, a lifelong resident of Tewksbury, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 7, 2005 at her home.
She was the wife of Peter W. Fawcett, Jr., who died October 3, 1995.
Born in Tewksbury on August 1, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Walter R. and Flora (MacQuarrie) Morris.
She attended Tewksbury schools.
Mrs. Fawcett was employed for many years by the General Tire Company of Reading.
She is survived by one son; Peter W. Fawcett, III of Tewksbury; three daughters; Pamela A. Searles and her husband Michael of Lawrence, Tammy J. Gumtow of Lowell and Wanda L. Newman and her husband James of Laconia, NH; her former daughter-in-law; Cheryl (Falzone) Fawcett of Tewksbury; one brother; Edward A. Morris and his wife Rose (DeCarolis) of Windham, NH; two sisters; Mary I. DuBois and Flora M. Marzeoti and her husband Donald all of Tewksbury; eight grandchildren; Kimberly and Michael Searles, Kristen Fawcett, Samantha and Amanda Gumtow, Christopher, Zachary and Cody Newman; five great grandchildren; Nathaniel Searles, Christian, Kailyn and Yasmine Cruz and Michael Searles.
Mrs. Fawcett was the sister of the late Catherine C. Burris, Dorothy E. Canty, Walter F., Raymond D. and Donald R. Morris.
Calling hours Sunday, December 11th from 2-5 p.m., at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St., Tewksbury. Funeral service Monday, December 12th at 10 a.m., at the funeral home. Interment at Tewksbury Cemetery.
