Mrs. Elaine J. (Blanchette) Moesta, 74, formerly of Methuen passed away at her home in Leesburg, FL on September 15th. The daughter of the late Alfred and Denora (Hamel) Blanchette, she was born in Lawrence and had been an area resident all her life. Mrs. Moesta was a graduate of St. Anne High School and retired as an executive secretary from Gillette. She enjoyed attending car shows with her husband, traveling to Florida and watching NASCAR. Mrs. Moesta loved to be surrounded by her family and her smile and contagious happiness will be missed by all who knew her. Along with her parents she was also pre-deceased by her brother; Kenneth Blanchette. Mrs. Moesta is survived by her loving husband of 49 years Roy Moesta, one daughter; Tracy Bergeron of Salem, NH, one son; Roy Moesta II and his wife Joyce of Methuen, one sister; Linda Holland of The Villages, FL, She has four grandchildren; Nathan Moesta, Braden Moesta, Ashley Bergeron, and Elise Bergeron. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 11:00 am at St. Monica Church in Methuen.
