Robert "Bobby" "Blaze" Capraro, of Medford, died Sunday, September 23rd. He was 48. Born and raised in Medford, he was the son of Anthony Capraro Jr., and Pearl (Getchell) Capraro.
Bobby absolutely adored and loved his children they were his pride and joy. Bobby loved people, and they loved him. No matter how, where or when you met Bobby you were instantly connected. He was everyone's best friend, his smile was contagious and his laughter was known to fill the room.
Bobby was a proud member of the Laborers Union Local 151. He worked hard to provide for his family. When Bobby wasn't working he enjoyed washing, waxing and working on cars. He was especially fond of Lincoln's and Cadillac's there was a special spot in his heart for the classic cars as well. An avid Elvis fan he enjoyed visiting Graceland with his loving wife Monica.
Bobby was the beloved husband of Monica (Branley) Capraro. He was the devoted father of Catriona N. and Dominick J. Capraro. Cherished son of Anthony Capraro Jr., and his partner Lidia Machado of Reading and Pearl (Getchell) Capraro of Medford. Son in law of Frank and Kitty (O'Driscoll) Branley of Medford and the dear brother of Anthony Capraro III and his wife Heather of Concord, NH, and Dennis Capraro and his wife Jodi of Tewksbury. Brother in law of Brain Branley, Kevin Branley and his wife Sarah, Maura Branley and her husband Andrew, and Robert Branley and his wife Nicole. Bobby was the loving uncle of Melissa, Ashley, Andrew, Jillian, Michelle, Amanda, Brian, Nick, Jaclyn, Dominick, Patrick, Elena, Sarah and Michael.
His funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Monday, October 1st at 10 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High St., Medford, Monday at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Sunday 4 - 8 PM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
