WORCESTER-Leocadia “Laura” H. (Kozarnowicz)Dymek, 83, of 7 Columbus Street died suddenly, on Monday, December 5th in UMass Hospital. Her husband; Bennie A. Dymek died in 1983. She leaves 3 sons; Richard P. and his wife Cheryl A. Dymek of Hopkinsville, KY, Joseph J. and his wife Cathy E. Dymek of Woodstock, MD, Robert S. and his wife Nana Dymek of Sutton, 2 daughters; Laurie J. wife of Richard H. Frykholm of Holden and Jane E. Dymek with whom she lived, 2 sisters; Jane E. and Helen H. Kozarnowicz both of Worcester, 8 grandchildren; Melanie J. and Stephen M. Dymek, Philip A., Christopher R. and Jonathan C. Frykholm, Ryan J., Matthew B. and Cathryn S. Dymek, many nephews and nieces. 2 brothers; Stanley J. and Joseph S. Kozarnowicz predeceased her.
She was born in Worcester the daughter of John F. and Jadwiga (Rucki) Kozarnowicz and graduated from the former Commerce High School. Mrs. Dymek was a beloved wife and mother who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was a member of St. Andrew the Apostle Church and its Women’s Guild.
The funeral is Friday, December 9th from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue with a Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Andrew the Apostle Church, 5 Spaulding Street. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours are Thursday, December 8th from 4:00 until 7:00 PM in the funeral home.
