Obituary

LOWELL--Arthur F. Stasio, 83 years old, a resident of Lowell for the past six years, formerly of Everett, died Thursday Dec.1, at Saints Memorial Medical Center.

Born in Boston on January 7, 1922, he was a son of the late Joseph and Fennie (Fiocchilo) Stasio. He was educated in the Boston Schools and attended Burdette College in Boston.

During World War II, Mr. Stasio served his country in the United States Army. For many years he was employed as a complex manager for Carusso Brothers, in Everett.

Following his retirement, Mr. Stasio was a school crossing guard for the city of Everett. Mr. Stasio was a member of the Knights of Columbus #00097 in Everett and the Everett Lodge of Elks.

He is survived by two sons and a daughter in law, Joseph A. and Brenda Stasio, of Lowell; and James A. Stasio of Peabody; six grandchildren: Mark Phillips, Christopher, Joshua, James, Jennifer and Jessica Stasio and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial Service will be held Wednesday evening, December 7th, at 6:30 PM in the Chapel at the FIRST UNITED BAPTIST CHURCH, 99 CHURCH ST. LOWELL. The family will receive relatives and friends at the church on Wednesday from 5:00 until the service at 6:30. Donations in his memory may be made to the Youth Services Fund, First United Baptist Church, 99 Church St, Lowell, MA 01852.
