Victoria Costagliola

TEWKSBURY - Victoria (Imperato) Costagliola, age 68, a resident of the Eagles Landing
community, died Sunday evening, Dec. 4, at her home after a long battle with cancer. She was
the wife of Gennaro “Jerry” Costagliola.
She was born in Brooklyn, NY, on March 3, 1937, a daughter of the late John and Madeline
(Fasano) Imperato. She lived in Brooklyn throughout her life, but retired to Tewksbury six years
ago.
Prior to retirement, she worked as an Assistant Librarian for Standard and Poor’s in N.Y.C.
Since moving to Tewksbury, she had been a communicant of St. William’s Church.
Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Dr. Joseph Costagliola,
M.D. and his wife Diane (Casertano) of Andover, John Costagliola and his wife Denise (Bisi) of
Oakland, CA; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Theresa Whittemore and her husband Clifford of
Staten Island, NY, Anna DeCarlo and her husband Frank of Pomona, NY; and three
grandchildren, Kristin, Mark and Christopher Costagliola.
She was also sister of the late Marie Castellano, and sister-in-law of the late Victor Costagliola.
Her Funeral Mass was held Friday, Dec. 9, in St. William’s Church, Tewksbury. Burial was in Tewksbury Cemetery. In lieu of flowers,
memorials to the American Cancer Society, 20 Speen St. Framingham, MA, 01701, will be
appreciated.
