Obituary

Worcester—Eva (Simonian) Haroyan, 76, died Thursday, Dec. 1, 2005, in her home. She leaves her husband of 43 years, Roger Haroyan; 2 daughters, Mary Haroyan and Nona Haroyan, and a sister, Bizer Simonian—all of Worcester; a brother, Samuel Simonian of Palm Bay, FL; and several nieces and nephews. Two sisters, Pannonia Apkarian and Oghda O’Gulian, predeceased her. Eva was born in Worcester, daughter of Yeghazar and Noonia (Kerkorian) Simonian and was a graduate of South High School. She was employed at State Mutual in the Actuarial Dept. and then in the Billing Dept. at Hanover Ins. Co. Eva was a member of the Armenian Church of Our Saviour, serving faithfully on various committees, including the choir, the ACYO, of which she was a delegate, the Fellowship Committee, the Cultural Organization, and the former Bingo Committee.

Funeral services, under the direction of Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln St, will be held Monday, Dec. 5, at 11:00 a.m. at the Armenian Church of Our Saviour, 87 Salisbury Street. Burial will private. There are no calling hours. Contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to the Armenian Church of Our Saviour or the Best Friends Animals Society, 5001 Angel Canyon Rd., Kanab, UT 84741-5000.
