
Kathleen “Kathy” Plumb, 53 years, of Brockton, died Monday November 28, 2005 at her home after a lengthy illness. She was a daughter of Louise M. (Harrington) Plumb of Brockton the late Roderick E. Plumb. She was born in Boston and lived in Somerville until the age of six when her family moved to Canton. Since 1973 she had been a resident of Brockton. She was a graduate of Canton High School Class of 1970 and a graduate of Massasoit Community College in Brockton where she was a member of the Key Club. She had been a bookkeeper at D.W. Jewelry in Walpole, and a volunteer and grant writer at the Brockton Rape Crisis Center. She enjoyed cats, letter writing and poetry.
She is survived by her mother Louise M. (Harrington) Plumb of Brockton, two brothers, David Plumb of Pembroke and Rick Plumb of Clearwater, Florida, three nieces, Emily, Morgan and Georgie, two aunts, an uncle and several cousins.
A Memorial Service will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Wednesday, December 7, 2005 at 12 noon. Burial to follow at St. Mary Cemetery in Randolph.
