Obituary

Worcester – Loretta M. Raymond, 96, formerly of 1050 Main St. died on Thursday December 1, in Radius Health Care Center after an illness.

Miss Raymond is survived by a niece Nancy Lemoine of Escondido, CA; four great nieces and great nephews Renee Moynagh of Sturbridge, Heather Lemoine of Woodstock, GA, Scott Schofield of Webster and Brian Schofield of Douglas; and several great great nephews and great great nieces. She is predeceased by one niece Marie Schofield. Miss Raymond was born in Worcester daughter of Elie P. Raymond Jr. and Marie L. (Dufour) Raymond.

Miss Raymond worked as a machinist for 49 years at the former Reed and Prince Company retiring in 1974. She was a member of Holy Name of Jesus Church, the Golden Age Society at Holy Name of Jesus Church and the 1050 Club.

The Funeral will be held on Saturday December 3, from the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home (www.Royfuneral.com) 12 Hammond St. with a mass at 9:30 AM in Holy Name of Jesus Church 53 Illinois St. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours are on Friday December 2, from 5 to 7 PM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
