MANCHESTER, NH—Shirley M. (Sullivan) (Albert) Geoffroy, 76 years old, died unexpectedly Saturday afternoon at the Catholic Medical Center, in Manchester, NH. She was the wife of the late Joseph A. Geoffroy and the late Roland Albert.
She was born in Lowell, on March 26, 1929, a daughter of the late Edward and Mary (Riley) Sullivan, and was a graduate of the Immaculate Conception Grammar School and Lowell High School.
Mrs. Geoffroy had been employed for many years as a Bindery Worker by the Courier Corporation, in Lowell. She had previously worked at BASF. She was a member of the Senior Citizens of Pepperell as well as a Senior Center Volunteer.
Surviving her are a son and daughter-in-law: Dennis and Elizionete Albert, of Nashua, NH; a daughter: Linda Riel, of Lowell; five grandchildren: Edward Corcoran and Kelly Corcoran, both of Lowell; Jason Albert, of Orange Park, FL; Thomas Riel and John Riel, both of Lowell; two great grandsons: Ethan Albert and Joshua Riel; a dear friend: Joe Madeiros, of Pepperell; also several nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Ruth Vesey, and Raymond Sullivan.
Cremation to take place at the Linwood Crematory, Haverhill. Memorial Calling hours to be held from 4 to 8 PM on Thursday, December 1st, at the MAHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 187 Nesmith Street, (Rte. 38), Lowell. Her Funeral Mass to be offered Friday, December 2nd, at 9 AM at the IMMACULATE CONCEPTION CHURCH. Burial in St. Patrick Cemetery.
