Obituary

William J. Iacopucci of Medford, formerly of Somerville, passed away on Tuesday, August 21. William was the beloved husband of over 51 years to Bertha (Maniscalco) Iacopucci, and the devoted father of William Iacopucci and fiancé Paullette Ricciardone, Carl Iacopucci and wife Jennifer, and John Iacopucci. He was the loving grandfather of Kira and Christa Iacopucci, and the cherished son of the late John and Adele (Biagioni) Iacopucci.

William was a graduate of Medford High Class of 1958. He was employed as a meat cutter at his father's meat market, as well as M.M. Mades, A&P, Liberty, Cerretani's & Johnnies Food Master. William proudly served in the Army during the Vietnam War in Military Police Group, 62 M.P. Company, Armed Forces Police. He was a life member of Medford VFW Post 1012, and 3 year Senior Vice-Commander. William was an Honorary Knights of Columbus life member since 1959, Medford Council 141, Grand Knight 8 times, and KofC State Council District Warden for 3 years. He was a life member of the Dante Club of Somerville and Woburn NRA, and a member of Boston Braves Historical Ascociation.

Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Friday, August 24 at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High St., Medford, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. Visiting hours Thursday, August 23, from 4 through 8 PM.
