Mary R. (McGowan) Boucher, 89, of Dartmouth died Saturday November 26, 2005 at St. Luke's Hospital.
Born in Dartmouth, the daughter of the late Arthur and Annie A. (Martin) McGowan, she lived in Dartmouth and New Bedford for most of her life.
She was a graduate of New Bedford High School and Kinyon-Campbell Business School.
Mrs. Boucher was formerly employed as a secretary in the Product Engineering Deaprtment of Morse Cutting Tools, and later for the United Way until her retirement.
Survivors include two daughters, Marilyn L. Haskell and her husband Allison of New Bedford, and Joan Wright and her husband David of Cumming, Georgia; two grandchildren, Elizabeth Haskell and Mark G. Wright; three great-grandchildren, Jennifer, Amanda, and Sarah; and several nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Joseph McGowan, Ellen Beardsworth, and Ann Sullivan.
Funeral from the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford, Friday December 2, 2005 at 9 AM. Funeral Mass at St. Julie Billiart Church at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours will be on Thursday December 1, 2005 from 4-7 PM. Burial will be in Rural Cemetery.
