Nellie T. (Koskie) Creaven, 88, of Worcester, died Saturday, Nov. 27, in Saint Vincent Hospital.
Her husband, John J. Creaven, Sr. died in 1995. She leaves two sons, Thomas P. Creaven of Worcester and John J. Creaven, Jr. of Leesburg, VA; two daughters, Kathleen M. Foy of High Point, NC and Maryann Peranteau of Hubbardston; a brother, David Koskie of Worcester; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. A son, Richard J. Creaven, predeceased her. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Thomas and Mary (Paulekas) Koskie. Nellie worked for the General Electric Company for several years, before retiring. She was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church.
The funeral will be held Thursday, Dec. 1, from CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle St. with a Mass 10 a.m. in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 600 Cambridge St. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery. Visiting hours are Wednesday, Nov. 30, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
