Obituary

Douglas P. LeClerc, 41, of Manchester died November 25, 2005 at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Boston after a brief illness.

Born in Manchester on August 13, 1964, he was the son of Roland and Dorothy (Remillard) LeClerc. He lived most of his life in Manchester.

He was a graduate of Central High School in 1982 and was co-captain of the basketball team during his senior year. He attended St. Leo College in Florida.

Mr. LeClerc worked for AT&T in Boston and for Staples Office Supplies in Bedford. He coached basketball at St. Catherine Church.

He will be remembered as a loving and caring husband and father.

The family includes his wife of 16 years, Valerie (Bey) LeClerc of Manchester; two children, Westley LeClerc and Olivia LeClerc both of Manchester; his mother of Manchester and Englewood, FL; three sisters, Donna Doscher of Pittsfield, MA, Diane LeBlond of Weare and Darlene LeClerc-Conley of Manchester; two brothers, David LeClerc of North Hero, VT and Duane LeClerc of Bedford; aunts uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Wednesday November 30, 2005 in St. Joseph Cathedral, corner of Pine and Lowell streets, Manchester. The burial was private and was in St. Augustin Cemetery, Manchester.
