TEWKSBURY: Mary E. (Keese) Dyer, age 93, a resident of Tewksbury for 12 years, died Tuesday, November 22, 2005 at the Wentworth Skilled Care Center in Lowell.
She was the widow of Frank E. Dyer, who died April 29, 1970.
Born in Boston on March 21, 1912, she was the daughter of the late John D. and Margaret L. (Barrett) Keese.
Mrs. Dyer was raised in Dedham and attended Dedham schools.
Prior to moving to Tewksbury in 1979, she resided in Quincy for several years and Wakefield for 20 years.
Mrs. Dyer attended the Tewksbury United Methodist Church.
She enjoyed many activities including; knitting, crotchet, gardening and playing bingo and card games.
She is survived by one daughter; Shirley A. Mosson and her husband John of Tewksbury; two sons; Frank E. Dyer, Jr. and his wife Carol Ann (O’Shea), Richard N. Dyer and his wife Theresa (Courtney) all of Enfield, CT; her daughter-in-law; Dorothy (Kenyon) Dyer of Westfield; nine grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Dyer was the sister of the late Robert and John Keese, Marjorie Keese Larson and longtime companion of the late Shirley E. Jellison.
Calling hours Monday, November 28th from 5-8 p.m. at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St., Tewksbury. Funeral service Tuesday, November 29th at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment at Tewksbury Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Alzheimer’s Association, 311 Arsenal St., Watertown, MA 02472 are requested.
