Carole A. Ferland, 66, of Lawrence passed away peacefully on July 27, 2018, after
a challenging battle with brain cancer. She was a long time employee of the
Internal Revenue Service. She loved camping at Sebago Lake in Maine. From
campfires to kayaking to fishing, it was her favorite place to be. She was the
wife of Roland J. Ferland and daughter of Wilfred A. Jesses, who have both passed
away. Carole is survived by many. Her mother is Mildred M. Jesses of Andover,
MA. Her oldest daughter and full time caregiver is Alyssa A. Ferland, of
Lawrence, MA. Her youngest daughter is Natalie A. Houlihan of Rumford, RI;
Natalie’s husband is Sean Houlihan and her children are Joseph Roland and Maeve
Kristen. Her grandchildren will miss Nana’s hand-sewn Halloween costumes. Her
brother is Steve Jesses of Lisbon Falls, ME. Her nephew is Jason Lajoie of
Londonderry, NH. We can’t forget to mention the loving family pets: Zsa Zsa,
Penny, Fritz, Ozzie, Maxwell, Bella, Sophia, and Blanche. There are also several
extended relatives. Carole will have a private burial ceremony. Arrangements are
