
Richard J. Pawlisheck, 87, of Woonsocket, Rhode Island, formerly of Medway died July 12 in the Heritage Hills Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Cumberland. He was the husband of the Shirley H. (Howard) Pawlisheck who died in 2013.
Born in Lawrence, September 7,1930, the son of the late Joseph and Loretta (Argy) Pawlisheck, Mr. Pawlisheck had lived in Medway for most of his life before moving to Woonsocket 18 years ago.
He was a graduate of Merrimack College with a B.S. in Business.
He had been a project manager for the Foxboro Company for over 25 years before retiring.
He enjoyed coin collecting, golfing, keeping up on current events, playing cards and traveling.
Mr. Pawlisheck served in the Army during the Korean War attaining the rank of Sergeant.
He is survived by his children, Cathy Wilkinson and her husband Bob of North Reading, MA , Michael Pawlisheck and his wife Susan of Salisbury, MA, Susan Parratt and her husband Steffen of Princeton, New Jersey and Sharon Pawlisheck of Woonsocket.
He was the brother of the late Mildred Quintal.
He is also survived by his 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, July 18 in Evergreen Cemetery, Medway at 11: 00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be made in his memory to the Salvation Army 25 Congress Street, Milford, MA 01757.
