Yvonne (Blais) Saulnier, 89, of Dartmouth, formerly of New Bedford died Monday November 21, 2005 at Brandon Woods of Dartmouth after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Oswald Saulnier, Joseph Lafreniere, and Joseph Rogers.
Born in Warren, Rhode Island, the daughter of the late Eugene and Vitaline (Langevin) Blais, she lived in New Bedford for most of her life.
She was a former communicant of St. Anne's Church in New Bedford.
She formerly attended Elderhaven Day Care.
Survivors include a son, Joseph Rogers of Georgia; a daughter, Lorraine Buchler of Michigan; her daughter-in-law and caregiver, Patricia M. Souza of New Bedford; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Her Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday November 23, 2005 at 10 AM in the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday morning 9-10 AM prior to the service.
