Brother of Stephen Clifford and his wife Karen of Weymouth; Patricia Zibelli and her husband Nicholas of Carver; Elizabeth Higginbotham and her husband Thomas of Middleboro and Michael Clifford and his wife Winnifred of North Easton.
Funeral from the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Wednesday at 9 am. Funeral Mass in Christ the King Parish (formerly St. Colman) at 10 am. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. Obituary
Daniel died Saturday at the Morton Hospital after a lengthy illness. He was the husband of Lisa (Conyer) Clifford. He was born in Boston and raised in Brockton a son of Eugenia M. “Jean” (Murphy) Clifford of Duxbury and North Easton and the late Robert “Sandy” Clifford. For the past eight years he has been a resident of Taunton.
Dan was a graduate of Coyle High School in Taunton Class of 1976. He was also a graduate of St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas where he was a member of the cross country team and editor of the Hilltopper, the school newspaper.
He was an avid reader and enjoyed time spent with his nieces and nephews.
While a resident of Brockton he was a communicant of St. Colman Church where he had been an altar boy.
In addition to his wife and mother he is survived by two brothers and two sisters Stephen Clifford of Weymouth; Patricia Zibelli of Carver; Elizabeth Higginbotham of Middleboro and Michael Clifford of North Easton.
He also leaves many nieces and nephews
