TEWKSBURY: Irene M. (LeBouef) Larsen, age 64, a lifelong resident of Tewksbury, died Saturday, November 19, 2005 at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, NH.
She was the wife of Alfred W. “Gus” Larsen, with whom she celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary on June 11, 2005.
Born in Tewksbury, on June 16 1941, she was the daughter of Lillian (Seamans) LeBouef, who survives her of Tewksbury and the late Roland J. LeBouef.
Mrs. Larsen attended Tewksbury schools and graduated from Tewksbury High School in 1959.
She was a communicant of St. William’s Parish of Tewksbury.
Mrs. Larsen served as president and chief financial officer of Larco Wallboard, Inc. of Tewksbury for the past 20 years.
She was a member of the Tewksbury Red Hat Society.
In earlier years, she was an active fundraiser and supporter of the Tewksbury Pop Warner Football Program.
Mrs. Larsen enjoyed traveling, craft projects, painting and was an avid bowler.
In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by two daughters; Wendy I. (Larsen) Plant and her husband Gary M. Plant and Kristen A. (Larsen) LeBlanc and her husband Alfred J. LeBlanc, Jr. all of Tewksbury; two sons; James S. Larsen and his wife Elizabeth (MacLean) of Windham, NH and Jeffrey A. Larsen of Tewksbury; eight grandchildren; Matthew A., Katelyn A. and Abigail I. Plant, Alfred J. LeBlanc, III, Bailey R. and Sam L. LeBlanc, Colby J. and Victoria E. Larsen; one sister; Janet Giuffrida of Dunstable; her sister-in-law; Ann L. Clayton and her husband Rev. Horace A. Clayton of Chelmsford; also many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours Tuesday, November 22nd from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St., Tewksbury. Funeral Wednesday,November 23rd at 9 a.m. from the funeral home. Funeral Mass Wednesday,November 23rd at 10 a.m., at St. William’s Church, 1351 Main St., Rte. 38, Tewksbury. Interment at Tewksbury Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Scholarship Fund for Tewksbury High School Cheerleaders, c/o Redmen Football Club, 9 Cleghorn Lane, Tewksbury, MA 01876 or to the Cancer Center at Lowell General Hospital, c/o Development Office, 295 Varnum Ave., Lowell, MA 01854 are requested.
