Obituary

WEBSTER – John Darwin Weaver, IV, 37, of 33 East Main Street, died Thursday, November 17, at Hubbard Regional Hospital after being stricken ill at home.

He leaves his wife of 2 years, Gail E. (Roberts) Weaver; a son, Nicholas C. Doucette of Hudson; a daughter, Stephanie L. Weaver at home; 2 stepsons, Joshua J. Gremo of Webster and Michael C. Loftus of Brockton; his parents, John Edward Weaver III and Earletta (Sanders) Weaver of Clinton; a brother, Mark E. Weaver of Clinton; 3 sisters, Linda S. Greco, Shirley J. Hanson, and Roberta K. Howlett, all of Leominster; nephews and nieces.

He was born in Clarksburg, West Virginia, and moved to Leominster in 1978. He then lived in Clinton from 1980 to 2001, when he moved to Webster. He attended Clinton High School.

Mr. Weaver worked as a custodial engineer at Weetabix Company in Clinton for 7 years. He was working at Bates Auto Parts in Thompson at the time of his death.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Webster. In his youth, he was a member of the Methodist Church in West Virginia. He was a volunteer fire fighter for the Clinton Fire Department for 16 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, and working on his cars.

A memorial service was held Sunday, Nov. 20, at the First Baptist Church. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the First Baptist Church of Webster, 33 East Main St., Webster, MA 01570. Scanlon Funeral Service, East Main Street, is directing the arrangements.
